Who are we?
NCTech is a street-level geospatial data company, specialising in high resolution 360 degree imagery and LiDAR. Our data is used across a range of applications within markets such as GIS / Mapping, Immersive Media, Telecommunications, Utilities and Government.

NCTech is a company registered in Scotland (No. SC389309). NCTech is a data controller (ICO registration No. ZA214133).

How do we collect information from you?
We may obtain information about you every time you visit our website. We also process information about you any time that you contact us about products and services, to make a purchase from us, engage our services, or, if you register to our VR World Platform through our website, if you agree to receive one of our email newsletters, or if you apply for a job vacancy.

If you apply for a job with us we will provide you with a copy of our application privacy notice for job applicants.

Types of personal collected from you and how we use it.
Website Visitors: The personal data we collect from you when you visit our website or contact us through the website might include your name, address, email address, internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser type, operating system, and other technology on the devices you use to access our website. Our website uses cookies and you can access our cookie Policy here.

You may also submit an enquiry to us via our website and we will process your information to respond to you. We process this personal data  on the basis that we have a legitimate interest to do so.

App Users: The personal data we collect from you when you visit our app or contact us through the app might include your name, address, email address, internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser type, operating system, and other technology on the devices you use to access our app. Our app uses cookies and you can access our cookie Policy here.

Our Customers: If you make a purchase online, we will process your personal data  because it is necessary for us to do when entering into a contract with you. Note that if you make a payment to us online your payment card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who we engage to  to processing credit/debit card transactions, on our behalf.

Business Customers: If you are a business customer of NCTech, we will process your personal data, including your professional contact details for the purpose of entering into and negotiating a contract with you and fulfilling the terms of a contract with you.

Electronic Marketing to Customers: With your consent, we may process your personal data including your email, phone or text message contact details to send you information about products and services offered by NCTech.

Electronic Marketing to other Businesses: If you are a business customer we may contact you to let you know about our products and services on the basis of our legitimate interest.

Postal Marketing: Any postal marketing we carry out is conducted on the basis of our legitimate interests.

Profiling: We may analyse your personal data to create a profile of your interests and preferences so that we can contact you with information relevant to you. Right to access:You have a right to request access to the personal data we hold about you by making a subject access request. This can be made verbally or in writing. Once made, NCTech has 1 month from the data of receipt to comply with the request. The timescale for response may be extended by up to two months if the request is particularly complex and we will let you know within one month if we need to extend the response period. There is normally no charge for a subject access request but NCTech reserves the right to apply an administrative fee under circumstances where the request is excessive or repetitive.

Right of rectification:You have a right to request that we correct or complete any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you.

Right of erasure:You have the right to ask us to delete your personal data where it is no longer necessary for us to use it, you have withdrawn consent, or where we have no lawful basis for retaining it.
